AiN: from model to table, review and Excel

A workflow guide for preparing and reviewing a BOQ. It describes professional checks and does not promise automatic recognition, compatibility or a connection that has not been verified for the project.

Check the source

AiN brings together model data, BOQ items and project-specific completion. A model-based line stays linked to its originating elements so reviewers can examine the data behind it.

Incorporate the data

The process stays in the system: automatic where possible, manual where needed, and reviewed throughout. Suitability for independent use or a full service can be assessed against project material. Automation depends on data, scope and the required chapters.

Review before issue

AI assists with classification, mapping and calculation and never approves a quantity. Check descriptions, units, sources and completion before pricing or delivery. Review Excel export as part of delivery rather than as a substitute for professional checking.

Review checklist

  • Identify the source file and revision.
  • Record the unit and measurement rule, and check scope boundaries.
  • Distinguish model data, manual completion and AI suggestions.
  • Record missing data or exceptions before using a quantity for pricing.

AiN uses AI and can make mistakes. These guides were prepared with AI assistance and have not been reviewed by Yaakov Avital; professional review is required before project use.
